anuṣṭhānam – A platform for Performers
After receiving overwhelming response for the Ganesh Chaturti festival, Nandi Kalagram team envisaged the idea of providing a platform for all artists who would like to showcase their talent to the World. This platform is open to everyone! Young, Old, Carnatic, Hindustani, Singers, Musicians, Dancers,….anyone who has the flare to perform at their level of perfection!
This is a platform for all the classical art performers. This is an opportunity to showcase your talent! Record a full dance / music performance of your choice and upload it on our website.
Selected videos will be aired on all our online platforms (on selected days at 6 PM). This gives an equal opportunity to all the participants.
Make sure to adhere to the following rules.
- Anyone above 12 years can participate (If younger then a sample of the performance to be sent to us)
- Your personal details to be mentioned at the beginning of the recording along with the details of your school and guru
- Also, mention the details of dance / music piece selected along with the details of composer and singer.
- Performance not to be more than 20 minutes.
- The recording to be done clearly in landscape mode only. The recorded piece will be uploaded directly without editing. Please note that in case the recording / lighting quality is not good the same will be rejected.
- Dress code: As per the chosen art form. This has to conform with the chosen art form.
- Please make sure you have rights to use the audio for the performance (Nandi Kalagram is just a platform to broadcast the program)
Note: In case you want to set up a background then please make sure that it blends with the selected piece that is being performed. We understand that in the present conditions it is not easy to manage to do anything exorbitant hence, we will mostly concentrate on the quality of performance during the selection process.
Once the recording is received, the same will be reviewed by our selection panel and then if selected, you will be notified with the date and time when the program will be broadcasted online.
The program will be broadcasted on Nandi Kalagram’s Website, Youtube and Facebook. Link of the same will be shared with the participant.
